We drink it from a bottle, a can, or sometimes even upside-down from a keg! We stock it for the game and pop it open after yard work. But how often do we think about everything that goes into it? Beer is a beverage tied to the American identity and, as it turns out, is part of an industry swimming desperately to free itself from the complex legacy of American Racism.
