Preparing and Packing the Holiday Meal boxes
Purpose: Each year, Focus: HOPE provides holiday meal boxes to 1,400 randomly selected recipients of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.Description: The Holiday Meal Packing team will sort and pack the holiday meal boxes to stage for deliveries. The team will consist of 15-25 volunteers.
These items consist of fresh produce, boxed items (stuffing, cake mix, household supplies, etc).
Moderately physical activity: Standing and moving for periods of time will be involved in this activity.
Must wear mask while on site. Social distancing will be enforced.
COVID Guidelines at Focus: HOPE
To ensure the safety of our colleagues, guests, and tenants, each person entering the building must adhere to the following guidelines:
- If you are not feeling well or have fever or if one has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please DO NOT ENTER the building.
- All colleagues and guests are required to wear a proper face mask. If you do not have one, see a Focus: HOPE staff member. (If you are asked to wear a mask and refuse, you may be asked to leave the premises)
- Please wash hands regularly in restrooms or at handwashing stations. Please use no-touch hand sanitizing stations when hand washing is not available.
- Please respect the Six-Foot Social Distancing request while in any Focus: HOPE facility.
