The "Stay Home" order exempts those assisting with disadvantaged or "needy" populations.

Your support is needed more than ever! 

 Using Safe Practices-- Masks; Gloves; hand washing stations; social distancing 

Masks and gloves are on-hand, please feel free to bring your own 

You must cover your nose and mouth at all times. 
 
Hours: Tuesday -Thursday 1:00-4:00pm 
Wednesday’s 9:00am-1:00pm 

Assist with Curbside Pick Up

Volunteers that participate will be loading the prepacked food boxes into the cars using social distancing, replenishing the supplies/commodities for distribution. This is a moderately physical activity. Long periods of active moving and standing may occur. 

 Volunteers may assist with the following tasks:  

  • Distribute food to seniors by loading prepacked boxes to vehicles 
  • Contactless distribution to cars
  • Pull stock from replenishment warehouse and restocking the Food Center floor 
  • Corral the shopping carts back into the building 
  • Keep the floor safe and clean by removing debris and other obstructions off the floor 
  • Heavy lifting required... Food boxes are approximately 50 pounds each

Attire: We suggest volunteers dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. No open toe shoes, jogging pants, shorts, tank tops/sleeveless shirts. 

Additional Information: There is limited storage space, please leave personal items in a secure place. 

Parking & Entering the building: Is located inside the gated lot at Oakman and 14th street. Once inside the gated lot, there will be a sign on the building directing volunteers to enter in the door facing Oakman Blvd. The Volunteer break room will be to your immediate left. Go inside and get checked in.
